She works to not simply capture the likeness of the location, but the spirit and mood of the place as well. With her landscape works, she tries to create an environment that the viewer can imagine themselves inhabiting: feeling the sand between the toes and the sound of the waves of a seascape, smelling the flowers or hearing the birds within a country landscape.
