Jill Beebe

Jill Beebe studied computer animation and traditional painting at Bowling Green State University, and her work today includes both digital art and traditional oil, acrylic, and watercolor painting. Over the past decade, she has especially enjoyed working in acrylic and watercolor. What first drew her to these mediums for their quick drying time has grown into a deep appreciation for the layering, control, and expressive detail they allow.

Working primarily in a representational style, Jill finds inspiration in everyday subjects, transforming them into thoughtful, quietly narrative scenes. Her background in animation continues to shape the way she composes her work, inviting viewers to step into moments that feel both familiar and imaginative.

An active member of the Artist Colony of Zanesville (ArtCOZ) and the Southeastern Ohio Water Media Society, Jill also enjoys connecting and creating alongside fellow artists through the Zanesville Appalachian Arts Project (ZAAP) and the Coshocton Art Guild. Jill lives in Zanesville, Ohio with her husband and three children and loves encouraging emerging artists as a painting instructor at Julie’s Artery.
